Freedom of information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides a right of access to recorded information held by a public authority and sets out exemptions from that right. Under the act you are able to make a request for information held by us:

  • To be told whether or not we hold information; and
  • To have that information communicated to you

All requests must be dealt with promptly within 20 working days.
